I am a Master’s student at VIT, Vellore. I have been working in the field of Microbiology and learning about the AMR and phage therapy under the guidance of Dr N Ramesh at Antibiotic Resistance and Phage Therapy Laboratory at the School of Bio-Sciences and Technology at Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India. My dissertation have been focused on the isolation and characterization of bacteriophages infecting Citrobacter spp. A prospective Doctoral student at the Puxty’s lab (Dr. Richard Puxty) at the University of Warwick, UK. I will be pursuing my doctoral studies in the field of synthetic bacteriophages and investigating the role of tRNA’s on host range and virulence.
